Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist #132155

The bravest thing you can do is to begin to understand your own story. Therapy can be a pivotal step in that journey. My approach in the therapy process is a collaborative one in which you are in the driver’s seat -I’ll be next to you guiding you to your destination. I believe the best results come from a collaborative approach in which we work together to meet the goals you have for yourself. Life can already be hard, and therapy does not have to be.

I am a daughter of immigrants and a first-generation Persian-American with a passion for destigmatizing the mental health field. I think therapy as well as finding the “Right” therapist for you can be transformative. The therapy room is safe space to process things that may be difficult to talk about or perhaps things you can’t share with others, whatever the case I’m here to support you through it all. I speak Farsi fluently and some of my specialties include mood disorders, family conflict, cross-cultural counseling, transitional aged youth, grief & loss, and life transitions. I utilize Cognitive behavioral therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and a Client-Centered approach to help you empower you to reach your goals.
