Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist #157472
I am an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT) and Associate Professional Clinical Counselor (APCC) with experience working with individuals, couples, children, adolescents, and families as they navigate a wide range of life stressors. As a Navy Veteran, I have a passion for supporting both active-duty service members and veterans, helping them process current and past experiences related to their time in service. I also have experience working with adults aged 18 to 75, focusing on personal growth, anxiety, depression, and relationship challenges. I am dedicated to addressing the mental health needs of BIPOC communities. As a woman of color, veteran, and therapist, I understand the importance of creating space for those who feel underrepresented, and I strive to ensure that my clients feel seen, heard, and supported.
I integrate evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Client-Centered Therapy to help clients achieve their unique goals. I am known for my empathic nature and ability to build strong rapport, which allows me to tailor therapeutic methods to each client’s individual needs. Whether working with individuals processing trauma, couples seeking to strengthen their relationships, or children adjusting to family changes, I am committed to offering a safe, compassionate, and nonjudgmental environment. I deeply believe in the power of therapy to foster healing and growth. I am passionate about being a source of support and empowerment, particularly for those who may feel a lack of representation in mental health spaces. I look forward to being a part of my clients' journeys toward well-being and fulfillment.
